Welcome to Panama! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your private driver waiting just outside of customs with a sign bearing your name for easy identification. From there, you’ll be comfortably transported to your hotel, where you can relax and settle in.
Later in the evening, a car will pick you up for a special welcome dinner, providing you with the perfect start to your relocation experience. Enjoy a delightful evening at one of the city’s finest rooftop restaurants, offering stunning views and a delectable dining experience. The dress code for dinner is smart casual, ensuring you feel both comfortable and stylish.
After dinner, you’ll return to your hotel to unwind and prepare for the exciting activities planned for Day 2.
Your second day in Panama starts with a morning appointment with a top immigration attorney, who will provide you with valuable insights and guidance on the immigration process. Following this, you have a late morning appointment with an English-speaking healthcare provider to help you understand the local healthcare system and options available to you.
For lunch, enjoy a delicious meal with Big Will at one of Panama’s famous local favorites, where you’ll get a taste of authentic Panamanian cuisine.
In the evening, we will meet at a local lounge that is an expat favorite, Umami Bodega. On this night they feature live jazz and the atmosphere is always lively! This is an excellent way to see how we live and meet some new neighbors!
Our in-depth tour will explore the districts of, Bella Vista, Avenida Balboa, San Francisco, Brisas del Golf, Brisas Norte, Costa del Este, Santa Maria Golf and Country Club, Obarrio, El Cangrejo, Punta Pacifica, Clayton and Panama Pacifico.
Includes a tour of Mercado de Marisco (fish market) San Felipe Neri (Large fruit vegetable and meat market). In each district you will experience the proximity to hospitals, parks, supermarkets, shopping malls, public transportation (Metro Bus and Subway), pharmacies, restaurants, and Fondas (small local restaurants with great food and prices). You will physically explore a supermarket to get insight on prices etc.
The tour also includes a ride on the subway to demonstrate the ease and affordability of Panama’s metro system.
You are on your own to relax, explore and enjoy the city for the evening.
Now that you have an idea of which neighborhood you would like to live in, your real estate expert will give a tour of available units in that area for you. The Standard tour covers Panama City. We offer an option for those that want to see real estate in the Coronado/El Valle area below as you book your tour. There is an extra $250 charge for Coronado/El Valle service as this location is 1.5 hours outside of Panama City.
This tour is for those who love the white sands and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. You will be picked up at your hotel by Big Will and whisked away to visit Colòn and the gorgeous Costa Arriba coastline. Witness the beautiful culture of the AfroPanamanian community along this coastline. We will even stop in Portobelo to view the statue of the Black Christ, as well as spending time in the Museum of AfroPanamaian Memory. Then we will hop in our privately chartered boat to tour the pristine and beautiful islands along the coast. Isla Grande. Isla Mamey. Playa Blanca. Enjoy a great Caribbean lunch at a beach restaurant. And then go for a massage afterwards. The massage tent is on the beach!! The Go Explore Panama team will be with you every step of way. We return to the city and your hotel by 6pm. This is our absolute favorite beach day experience and we are pleased to share it with you.
As your unforgettable relocation tour comes to an end, it’s time to head back home with a wealth of knowledge and experiences.
